Day 1: Zanzibar – Dar es Salaam – Morogoro – Mikumi – Maasai Cultural Visit

Your day begins early with pickup from your hotel around 4:00 AM or 5:00 AM, depending on your location, and transfer to the Stone Town ferry terminal. From there, you’ll take a ferry to Dar es Salaam, a scenic journey of approximately 1.5 hours. You’ll arrive in Dar es Salaam around 9:00 AM and proceed directly to the train station.

Board a train to Morogoro, enjoying views of the Tanzanian countryside during the 1.5-hour ride. Upon arrival in Morogoro around 10:30–11:00 AM, you’ll take a 1-hour road transfer to Mikumi National Park, reaching your accommodation between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM.

After check-in and lunch, enjoy some time to relax before heading out for a memorable Maasai cultural experience. During your visit, you’ll:
- Learn about Maasai traditions and daily life
- Wear traditional Maasai attire
- Join in traditional dances and ceremonies
- Take photos with members of the community

Start your day with an early breakfast at the lodge around 6:00 AM, then head out for a thrilling full-day game drive through the stunning landscapes of Mikumi National Park. As the sun rises over the savannah, you’ll explore open plains and acacia woodlands, spotting a variety of wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and more.

Around 12:30 PM, you’ll take a break for a scenic picnic-style lunch inside the park. Afterward, continue your journey deeper into the park, where each moment brings new sights, sounds, and the wonder of Tanzania’s untouched wilderness.

As the sun sets and the sky turns golden, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.It’s a perfect end to an incredible safari day, filled with unforgettable wildlife encounters and lasting memories you’ll carry long after the adventure ends.
Day 3: Return Journey to Zanzibar
Day 3: Return to Zanzibar from Mikumi with Scenic Train & Ferry Ride
Start your day early with breakfast ready by 7:00 AM. Afterward, you'll transfer to the Morogoro train station for the train ride to Dar es Salaam, which takes approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you’ll catch a ferry to Zanzibar (about 1.5 hours), arriving in Zanzibar by early afternoon.

Once you arrive in Zanzibar, you'll be transferred to your hotel, where you'll arrive around 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, marking the end of your unforgettable journey.
